Holly Winter Couture is the destination atelier for incorrigible, style-led brides who favour the unique over the ubiquitous. Every exquisite piece crafted by Holly Winter Couture begins with each individual bride and incorporates her wedding themes, her shape and how she wants to feel like the centre of attention.
Some Holly Winter Couture creations incorporate traditional elements, such as elegant gowns and embellished veils featuring custom embroidery and hand-beading. More edgy designs include jumpsuits with embroidered hints of colour, trousers with open-front overskirts, tops and coats with details like pearls apparently suspended between seams or an oversize bow that function as a train.
At Bridelux, meet the lead designer and dressmaker Holly Winter, a lifelong dressmaker and professional couturier with training from the Royal School of Needlework and former Great British Sewing Bee judge May Martin. Holly frequently comments in print, online and broadcast media on all things weddings, dressmaking and body confidence. In the past year, her work has appeared in The Guardian, The Observer, Huffpost and more, with an exclusive editorial fashion spread in a leading bridal magazine, while the BBC’s Emma Barnett proclaimed her, “the happiest person in Britain”.
Further accolades include Telegraph Covid-19 Hero, Metro Everyday Hero and a Pride of Britain Award nomination for offering her services free to NHS brides who had had to postpone their 2020 weddings due to coronavirus.
The Holly Winter Couture atelier is based on the Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire borders, within a mile of the M3, Farnborough Station and private Farnborough airport. There are also remote and visiting services for clients unable to attend the atelier in person.
