Jay Émme is a professional classical and contemporary trained cellist, and has performed both as a soloist and with ensembles around the world. She's a self-confessed wedding addict, and absolutely loves to provide perfect and gorgeous music for brides and grooms on one of their biggest days!

She performs well-loved classics such as The Swan, Bach Cello Suite in G, and The Wedding March, through to pop favourites like John Legend "All Of Me" and Christina Perri "A Thousand Years". For something more traditional, she can perform beautiful hymns like Amazing Grace, Love Divine, Lord Of The Dance, and How Great Thou Art. Or she can provide TV, film and theatre favourites such as "She" from Notting Hill, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, and the Main Theme from Game Of Thrones! So far there's been no limit to what she can play for you on your wedding day.

She is more than happy to arrange your favourite piece of music for you, and she also sight-reads fluently and improvises where necessary.

She has played the cello for 30+ years, performing with numerous orchestras and ensembles around the UK, from northern Scotland, right down to the south coast. When not busy playing professionally for weddings and events, she performs regularly with a select number of UK-based orchestras. She's also travelled internationally to perform with my cello, including Canada, the Caribbean, the Channel Islands, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
During her career as a professional cellist, she has been invited to record as accompanying strings for a wide variety of musicians for professional recordings and live performances. She has provided music and demonstrations for promo sessions, wedding shows, the BBC, and numerous graduation ceremonies, and is often invited to work with music students exploring creative arts through music."
