A few words from Sheila:

Hello! It’s such a pleasure to have you here - I’m Sheila, founder, and head planner/stylist at Sheila Karim Events.

Creativity has always played its part in my life. having nurtured a love for the arts from a very early age. I found that at school, creative classes such as art & design, textiles, and interiors were always the classes I excelled in. By the time I was ready to undertake my degree my love for the arts organically took a turn towards the fashion industry where I went onto studying fashion business at university focusing on the business aspects of the fashion industry. I really enjoyed learning about the fashion business during my years at university. The fashion industry allowed me to indulge in my passion for discovering new trends and immersing myself in work experience and paved the way for a very successful seven years within a sales and logistical-based role at contemporary fashion brands Theory & Helmut lang.

The events that I love to design are both perfectly executed and unapologetically stylish. I have a deeply rooted passion for creativity and for being a thoughtful host, as well as a natural talent for logistics and problem solving, which together allow me to serve my clients in a comprehensive, holistic way. Bringing people together and seeing them enjoy life is something that has always been very special to me – and some of my fondest memories, even as a teenager! Now, as a mother of two wonderful girls, I hope to pass on that joy to them.
