Bill Spinner is the Director of Catering at The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, the iconic hotel on New York’s Fifth Avenue overlooking Central Park. Responsible for sales and operations of unique venue space spanning 20,000+ square feet.

Prior to his position at The Pierre, Mr Spinner directed catering operations at Cipriani International, New York. Opening the famed Rainbow Room in 1999 for special events, dinner and dancing, in the acclaimed Rockefeller Center landmark. His career started in Pennsylvania at a family-owned and operated inn and restaurant. In New York, working at Windows on the World and then at The Pierre in catering and event planning for 17 years.
Mr Spinner received a B.S. degree in Hotel Management from Pennsylvania State University in 1981. Mr Spinner is active in Penn State University Hospitality Mentor Program, Chaine des Rotisseurs Westchester Chapter, National Association for Catering and Events, James Beard Foundation, New York Cares Volunteer.
