About Dunton Destinations
Dunton's properties are a collection of unique, small, exclusive resorts located in the most striking destinations. Dunton Hot Springs is a meticulously restored 19th-century ghost town nestled deep in the Colorado Rockies. The former mining town thrives on contradictions; exquisitely furnished hand-hewn log cabins, a life-worn saloon serving food of startling quality, and lung-torturing trails followed by sensuous soaks in the hot springs beneath shimmering snow banks just to name a few. The picturesque and romantic old mining town blends the rustic beauty of the American West with modern amenities like high-speed wireless internet access in every cabin. Named #4 'Best Hotel for Food Lover's in America' by Bon Appetit, Dunton Hot Springs provides unrivaled culinary experiences accompanied by award-winning wines produced by the resort's partner winery, Sutcliffe Vineyards. A short four miles downriver from Dunton Hot Springs sits Dunton River Camp, a former cattle ranch dating back to the late 1800s. Here, the original farmhouse sits only 20 feet from the West Fork of the Dolores River; and spacious, indulgent tent accommodations provide the perfect summer-only shelter for guests in this extraordinary alpine setting. Dunton Town House is just that, a charming home in the legendary town of Telluride, Colorado turned luxury guest house hotel. Perfectly situated between the gondola and Main Street in 'historic Telluride', this Victorian-era home offers access to the western American town tucked into a box canyon surrounded on three sides by 14,000-foot peaks. All three properties provide unobtrusive service, exceptional food and wine, and authentic mountain adventure for guests seeking new experiences and value in all of the things money can't buy.
