Distinguished by the stunning views overlooking Central Park and the New York City skyline, their Mandarin Ballroom nestled atop the 36th Floor of the hotel is one of the most sought after venues for weddings and events.
Leah started her career in the hotel industry with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2004 and has held key roles within the company that spanned from Public Relations to Guest Relations and eventually Catering & Events. Once Leah had a taste for Catering & Events she never looked back. Her passion for food, event planning, and client relations helped her persevere in her role as a catering coordinator. She also had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most seasoned event professionals in New York that included Arthur Backal, Melina Beckett and James Munz which gave her the chance to learn and grow on a daily basis and helped her eventually earn the title Director of Catering at Mandarin Oriental, New York in 2018.
Leah has a B.A. Degree in Communications and PR from The State University in New York at New Paltz. Leah also held the position of Programs Director on the New York Chapter Board of Wish Upon A Wedding and most recently was President for the New York Chapter of WIPA (Wedding International Professionals Association).
