Michel Roux Jr
Michel Roux Jr is a Anglo-French two- star Michelin restaurateur and chef working in Britain. He is the son of Albert Roux OBE who with his brother Michel operated Le Gavroche, which opened in 1967, the first restaurant in the UK to gain three Michelin stars and Chez Roux Ltd. Michel Roux, Jr. continues to run Le Gavroche.
Michel was a judge and presenter on the BBC’s popular prime time show, MasterChef: The Professionals, and has been a presenter on the series of ‘Great British Food Revival.’ Other works include the return of BBC2’s ‘Food and Drink,’ and he presented a documentary on Escoffier, whose revolutionary approach to fine cuisine has inspired Michel and many others.
In 2010 The Langham, London announced an exclusive partnership with Chez Roux Limited to operate its Food & Beverage outlets. Since the Roux at The Landau first launched in 2010 run together with his father Albert Roux OBE, the restaurant has fast become one of the most sought after dining destinations in the capital, ranking amongst the leading.
