Richard Eagleton is CEO of McQueens Flowers, the internationally renowned luxury floral design brand and flower school founded in London’s East End in 1991. With a brief to grow the business in the UK and internationally, Richard joined the 60-strong company in 2018 following its acquisition by private equity investors.
Richard is a graduate of Central St Martins School of Art & Design, where he studied Product Design. Prior to starting at McQueens Flowers, he held senior management and board director roles at some of the most famous British luxury brands including Dunhill, Waterford Wedgwood, AGA and Fired Earth. He’s also a regular speaker at conferences and seminars.
Over his thirty-year career, Richard has lived and worked in Sydney, New York, Los Angles and, most recently, Mexico City, before returning home to London. He is a passionate cook and baker (he cooked for both his brother’s and his sister’s weddings!), likes to play the piano, and has visited more than 40 countries.
He lives in East London with his partner, two cats and a large collection of bow ties. His favourite flowers are hellebores, cherry blossom and Ranunculus.
